Vintage Squash Blossom Necklace

  • Vintage Squash Blossom Necklace - Historically, the squash blossom necklace serves as a reminder of the close interaction between the Pueblo and Navajo Indians since the mid-1800s.The necklace itself is Navajo, adopted by the Zuni, who added the turquoise with fine silver. This Native-made vintage necklace has 20 fluted blossom forms along its sides, and hammered look finial, terminating in two little hands. Three petite pieces of quality turquoise and regularly sized Navajo pearl discs. Great proportions make this a subtle showpiece whether worn with a tailored black dress or a girly shirt!
