Sterling Oval Repoussé Post Earrings by Rita Lee

  • Sterling Oval Repoussé Post Earrings by Rita Lee - Really special, Rita Lee's feel for shape, proportion, and her mastery of repoussé, a technique where sterling silver is pushed from behind to form a raised contoured design. These oblong oval shapes are reminiscent of Millicent Rogers' first showings of native jewelry and clothing in the 1940s, a vintage feel to them. Rita lives and works in New Mexico, USA and the earrings are stamped with her initials on the back side. Lightweight! Measures 1-1/2" wide x 2-1/2” long, with a central beveled diamond shape of sterling to set it off beautifully.
