Gunfights & Red River Information

A Red River tradition since 1959, the crowds gather in our parking lot around about 4 pm every Thursday and Saturday mid-June through mid-August for an old-fashioned spoof of a western gunfight, padnah! The show is designed to entertain young children. Locals play characters Silly, Doc, and Annabelle, and keep us all in stitches. Real guns shooting blanks are used, so be prepared for some loud fun!

On Saturdays only, Native American dancers from Taos Pueblo perform just prior to the Gunfight Show.

Summer 2017 Gunfight dates:

Begins 4 pm on Saturday June 22, with a performance every Thursday and Saturday through August 12

Special Tuesday show on July 4
